Job summary

Itron offers a part-time internship in West Union, SC for students pursuing computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering. You will assist senior engineers, write and debug code, and learn through projects while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders under manager guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related preferred).
• Intermediate programming abilities in object oriented languages such as C#, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with Git or related version control system.
• Ability to work well independently and with coworkers to share knowledge as part of a team.
• Experience managing time independently and prioritizing tasks.
• Strong problem-solving ability with the desire to take ownership of challenges and follow through to resolution.
• Open to feedback and coaching to improve skills.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.

Duration

Must be available ~25 hours/wk and have the ability to work onsite at Itron’s West Union location spring term 2027.
