Job summary

Itron is seeking a student for a part-time internship at its West Union location. The role involves assisting senior engineers with software development, writing and debugging code, and learning new skills through project work.

Availability about 25 hours per week in spring term 2027 is required, with onsite work. Collaboration with stakeholders and a willingness to accept feedback will help you own challenges and grow.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related preferred).
• Intermediate programming abilities in object oriented languages such as C#, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with Git or related version control system.
• Ability to work independently and with coworkers to share knowledge as part of a team.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Good problem-solving ability with ownership and follow-through.
• Open to feedback and coaching to improve skills.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
