Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks a Systems Engineer to join the ET&S Interiors/Payloads Capability team. The role supports sustainment and development of interiors and payload modifications across multiple ET&S programs.

Responsibilities include translating needs into system requirements, validating interfaces, managing supplier verification, and contributing to certification plans while collaborating with customer organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5+ years related work experience
Experience in verification and validation of requirements
Experience with interiors and payloads systems

Responsibilities

Plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle‑balanced system‑of‑systems solutions
Translate needs into system performance requirements and integrate interfaces
Manage supplier activities to verify requirements
Develop certification plans and coordinate with authorities
Identify and resolve cross‑functional technical issues
Contribute to proposal development and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
Define and execute risk mitigation and opportunity plans
Collaborate with internal teams and customer organizations to support program objectives
