Job summary

Boeing Everett is seeking an Experienced or Senior Payloads Engineer to join the Payloads Organization. You will lead the development and integration of interior payload system requirements, interface with supplier and customer teams, and guide design analyses through certification processes across the product lifecycle.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team on 1st shift, contributing to design, verification, production support, and program management efforts while leveraging 3-D CAD tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in design integration and/or certification.
• Experience in aerospace interiors or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops, integrates and documents interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
• Performs or oversees approval of analyses and test/inspection results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Manages supplier performance, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
• Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency.
• Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
• Develops, maintains and modifies interior payload system and component designs using 3-D CAD tools to provide product definition to other groups.
