Job summary

ICC | International Code Council seeks an experienced Systems Administrator to maintain and monitor infrastructure services, configure and protect server/desktop platforms, and support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.

You\'ll manage backups, DR procedures, and vendor relationships while providing Tier 2 end-user support. This role demands independent work, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative office environment in Birmingham, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of systems administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages, maintains, and monitors infrastructure services.
• Maintains installation, configuration, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, and storage per standards.
• Contributes to and maintains system standards.
• Coordinates infrastructure projects, maintains project status and scheduling reports.
• Deploys patches and updates for software and operating systems.
• Manages antivirus and anti-malware systems.
• Administers phone system, including wireless.
• Provides occasional onsite end-user support for hardware, software, and system access issues.
• Performs daily system monitoring backups and restore procedures.
• Creates/changes/removes AD users and mailboxes.
• Provides Tier 2 support for desktops and production software.
• Assists with hardware/software purchases and vendor management.
• Configures and maintains company-wide backup solutions and storage.
• Configures and monitors internal network and system monitoring to identify infrastructure issues.
