Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and 3–5 years in systems engineering, experience with software architecture, data modeling, and collaborative development, plus an active Secret

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in systems, computer or aerospace engineering or related STEM field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience with software architecture and development.
• Experience with data modeling, test driven development, and mission planning.
• Experience with collaborative software development in open source or professional teams.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and assess horizontal integration across open reference architectures and projects.
• Coordinate experiments and produce leadership briefs of results.
• Break down cross-cutting work into prototype tasks to reduce risk.
• Work with Government clients to understand integration requirements.
• Analyze business challenges and modify designs to maximize data use.
• Analyze hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and system-level requirements.
