Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Principal Software Integration, Automation, and Verification Engineer in Beavercreek/Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

You will lead automated test frameworks, integration tests, and CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid, verifiable delivery of mission-critical software for national security projects. Collaboration with engineers and government stakeholders is essential to ensure traceability and rigorous verification.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive software engineering or automated verification experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex software systems.
• Proficiency in Python for test development, automation, and tooling.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
• Experience debugging software integration issues and resolving defects from requirements.
• Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and software baselines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of automated test and verification frameworks.
• Develop and execute integration tests for distributed software components.
• Create tests that verify software functionality, integration, and performance.
• Implement automated test reporting to dashboards and MBSE artifacts.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous verification.
• Produce technical docs defining test frameworks, baselines, and CM artifacts.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and government stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction as a lead and manage multiple efforts.
