Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer III to lead requirements engineering, system integration, V&V, and MBSE activities within the IAS business area.

You will drive architecture concepts, conduct trade studies, and mentor junior engineers across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring design integrity and lifecycle management while collaborating for on-time, within-budget deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Advanced proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle advanced tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Lead system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management efforts.
• Work with RF Engineers to develop new system architecture concepts.
• Lead trade studies and communicate results clearly.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide project teams.
