KIHOMAC, Inc. is seeking engineers in Layton, Utah to perform technical analysis in systems design and development, following the DoD design review process. The role utilizes MBSE techniques and supports lifecycle tasks with rigorous testing and simulation.

The candidate will lead technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with leadership across levels. A US citizen with security clearance potential is required; prior aircraft/military experience is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited institution in engineering or science required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools; Cameo experience preferred
• Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
• MRO/Depot Level repair and integration experience preferred
• Experience with systems integration, structural analysis and/or Python preferred
• US citizenship required; ability to obtain security clearance may be required
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds; PPE when required

Description Expertise and Functions * Perform technical analysis related to systems design and development * Conduct tasks associated with systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process

• Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
• Support systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) with simulation techniques * Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan * Exercise judgment to make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
• Proficient in technical writing including white papers, customer deliverable documents, etc.
• Collaborate with leadership at all levels
• Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
• Perform duties under supervision of staff and chief engineers
• Mentor less experienced engineers
• Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training: * Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in relevant engineering or science discipline required * Master's Degree preferred Experience: * 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area * Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
• Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred * MRO, Depot Level repair and integration experience preferred * Experience with systems integration, structural analysis and/or Python preferred Security: * Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements: * Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)

• Wellness Resources Salary: The projected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
