Qualifications

  • Experience with UNIX and/or Linux; instrumentation and test equipment knowledge (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer).

What You Will Do
  • Conduct system interface, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, modifications, and verification to ensure operational equipment performance.
  • Perform calibrations of the system hardware to ensure systems are within tolerance for critical real-time operations.
  • Provide quick resolution of system problems/failures that occur during operations.
  • Analyze radar and MFMS data test results and data collection activities.
  • Some travel to remote and domestic locations -CONUS and OCONUS to support program requirements, anticipated travel around 15%.
  • Other tasks as required for program and/or company support.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience with IF and/or RF equipment, IHawk computer, digital logic, and peripheral hardware
  • Experience with UNIX and/or Linux.
  • Experience with instrumentation, and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer)
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Thorough knowledge of analog/digital hardware design and related firmware
  • Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, work under stress, and be flexible to support across multiple disciplines
  • May require long hours and/or weekend work, travel for periods of time between domestic locations and to remote sites in support of program requirements
  • Ability to work in remote and hazardous location.

the salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
