Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an engineer to conduct system interface, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, modifications and verification to ensure operational equipment performance.

You will perform calibrations of the system hardware to ensure systems are within tolerance for critical real-time operations and provide quick resolution of system problems during operations. Some travel to CONUS/OCONUS (~15%) required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in STEM and at least 5 years engineering experience.
  • Experience with IF and/or RF equipment, IHawk computer, digital logic, and peripheral hardware.
  • Experience with UNIX and Linux.
  • Experience with instrumentation and test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer).
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance required prior to start date; US citizenship required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Experience with IF and/or RF equipment, IHawk computer, digital logic, and peripheral hardware.
  • Experience with UNIX and/or Linux.
  • Experience with instrumentation, and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer)
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with MATLAB.
  • Thorough knowledge of analog/digital hardware design and related firmware.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, work under stress, and be flexible to support across multiple disciplines.
  • May require long hours and/or weekend work, travel for periods of time between domestic locations and to remote sites in support of program requirements.
  • Ability to work in remote and hazardous location.
What We Offer

Relocation Eligible - Relocation assistance available

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
