Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the NASA MSFC Engineering Directorate in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on administering Mentor Graphics and related tools, and collaborating with NASA engineers to address design requirements.

Key duties include creating symbols and libraries, developing drawing formats, and providing training and technical guidance to end-users. Experience with MG or similar tools such as Altium, Creo Schematics, or AutoCAD is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Electronic Computer‑Aided Design (E‑CAD) applications.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics or comparable engineering design tools, such as Altium, Creo Schematics, or AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, configure, and maintain Mentor Graphics applications and related design tools.
• Provide technical support for Mentor Graphics design activities and associated applications.
• Create and maintain custom symbols to support engineering design requirements.
• Manage and maintain centralized symbol libraries to ensure consistency and accessibility.
• Develop, create, and update engineering drawing formats and templates.
• Apply Mentor Graphics design best practices to support application development and deployment.
• Utilize HyperLynx for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) analysis.
• Test and evaluate new application releases to ensure functionality and compatibility.
• Provide user training, technical guidance, and troubleshooting support for Mentor Graphics and related design tools.
• Collaborate with NASA engineers, designers, and technical teams to address application and design-related requirements.
