Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize large-scale enterprise infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes Linux administration, containerized workloads, and reliable, scalable platforms to support critical business applications.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools, particularly ArgoCD.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across infrastructure, applications, and container platforms.
• Experience using Splunk or similar monitoring and log analysis tools.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture, systems integrations, and enterprise technology environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud‑native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Administer and maintain Linux‑based systems for performance, security, and reliability.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD deployment pipelines with a focus on GitOps and automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production issues using Splunk.
• Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives and systems integration projects.
• Collaborate with application, network, security, and operations teams for platform deployments.
• Evaluate existing environments and recommend improvements to scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
