Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy Linux-based solutions for HPC, data management, and visualization tools.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate needs into infrastructure solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems optimized for science applications.
• Develop, maintain, and support containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Perform regular server maintenance, updates, patches, and hardening for security and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex server, application, and network issues affecting data workflows.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve infrastructure performance and scalability.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows to reduce operational overhead.
