Job summary

Lonza is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Level 2 to join their Portsmouth, NH team. The role supports automation, analytics, quality control, and information systems across the site at 101 International Drive, with potential travel to other US locations and occasional telecommuting.

The position requires aBachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience, along with proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and experience with change control, documentation, and system testing.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, and with network/storage/infrastructure fundamentals.
• Familiarity with change control processes and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential issues and resolve them under supervisor guidance.
• Assist with planning/execution of plant projects involving computerized infrastructure changes.
• Provide infrastructure support for automation, analytics, QA, and other information systems.
• Maintain system integrity and identify performance/security improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation for afterhours support; assist with CAPA/deviation investigations.
