Job summary

Collins Aerospace, RTX business, is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Puerto Rico engineering team in Aguadilla. This hybrid role requires you to be on-site three days and remote two days, with relocation not offered.

You will participate in cross‑discipline teams, develop system requirements, and apply MBSE techniques across the product lifecycle. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance are required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in at least one phase of the systems/software engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, development, verification).
• Effective English communication (verbal and written) is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-disciplinary integrated product teams, often using agile software development techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering, program management and other functions to support project execution.
• Contribute to development and flow-down of system requirements to align with project goals.
• Support requirements decomposition, traceability and verification across the lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure quality and compliance.
• Utilize MBSE to analyze and develop system requirements.
• Continuously learn and apply new skills to improve engineering practices.
