Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support planning and execution of Flight Test Missions for Patriot programs. You will coordinate and execute system-level test activities, and contribute to test readiness assessments.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with at least 2 years of experience, experience with system integration or testing, and the ability to produce technical documentation. This onsite role offers growth in a collaborative environment and relocation assistance.

  • Support scenario development, simulation runs, and hardware-in-the-loop runs for record, applying practical knowledge of tools and procedures to ensure high-quality test execution.
  • Coordinate with analysts and subject matter experts to ensure pre-mission data is accurately analyzed, interpreted, and prepared for decision-makers.
  • Perform post-mission data analysis and develop clear, fact-based test event reporting that informs follow-up actions and supports broader program goals.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%) as needed to support mission execution.
  • This role is fully onsite at the RTX facility in Andover, MA.

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer II to support the planning and execution of Flight Test Missions for Patriot programs. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in coordinating and executing system‑level test activities. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
