Job summary

MLT Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support DoD acquisition programs. You will work under the Explosive Hazards Defeat Team lead to integrate systems, manage development cycles, and ensure documentation aligns with SE processes and policy.

The role requires a Secret clearance, on-site work in a defense environment, and collaboration across engineering and support teams to execute technical reviews and documentation updates.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Remote work not available; on-site role.
• Mid-level knowledge of acquisition engineering and related product support elements.
• Experience integrating network OS, applications and hardware.
• Ability to analyze requirements and align with system specs and test results.
• Proficient in MS Office and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Support SETR-related activities including preparation, execution and closure.
• Draft and maintain System Requirements Documents and WBS artifacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track tasks and actions.
• Support engineering data management and RTM alignment with test results.
• Provide technical input to ensure compliance with DOD/DON policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define schedules and strategy.
