Job summary

San Manuel is seeking a Systems Engineer II to drive innovation for the Yuhaaviatam infrastructure. The role designs solutions, researches improvements, and plans backup and disaster recovery to meet enterprise needs. You will lead projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain scripts for operations and security.

Strong VMware, Windows Server, AD, and PowerShell skills are essential. The candidate should have a BS in a related field and at least six years of systems administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field is required.
• Minimum of six (6) years of systems administration experience is required.
• Certifications may be considered in lieu of education (IT only).

Responsibilities

• Engineers' designs for installation of infrastructure projects and guides system initiatives; researches solutions for continual improvement of IT infrastructure.
• Leads project teams to implement technology architecture components and ensures delivery.
• Understands business requirements and identifies potential solutions; conducts research and provides recommendations.
• Participates in purchase justifications and cost-saving analyses; reviews support contracts.
• Performs incident, problem, and change management including root cause analysis.
• Leads troubleshooting for infrastructure issues, coordinating with vendors and team members.
• Leads documentation of policies, procedures, and run books.
• Provides on-call support for enterprise clients and emergencies on a rotation.
• Designs and scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline operations; supports patching and security posture.
• Performs other duties to support efficient department operations.
