Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to analyze, design, and develop system requirements for defense software environments.

The role involves coordinating subsystems, ensuring secure architecture, and delivering updates with minimal downtime. Candidates should have experience in agile methodologies, system administration, and DISA STIG compliance. U.S. citizenship and top secret/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering and continuous software sustainment.
Experience with architectural oversight, requirements traceability, and system integration within a secure environment.
Two years in enterprise server administration for Linux/Windows with scalable virtualization (VMware vSphere, AWS).
Proficient with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and deploying updates with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing systems and define, design, and develop new system requirements.
Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
Assist in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer.
