Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, MIS, cybersecurity, or related field with 5 years of related experience.
• Experience monitoring and managing a networked computer infrastructure.
• Experience with system-level architectural design of software, hardware, and networked systems.
• Experience working government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and enterprise IT architectures.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing the NCRC networked computing infrastructure to ensure optimal and secure operations.
• Designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's systems infrastructure, including hardware/software implementations.
• Participating in planning and coordination of all program system engineering efforts.
• Maintaining knowledge of current technologies and developing architectural guidelines for future system development.
• Advising management and customers on operations, research studies, and budget requirements.
• Supporting system design reviews and the software development lifecycle.
• Verifying developed features throughout product development.
• Providing input on design improvements to cyber tools software or hardware.
