Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Advanced Programs portfolio within the Space and Airborne Systems Engineering and Test Capability Center. You will work on requirements, design, and production of a product line, focusing on streamlining test processes and accelerating programs with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes manufacturing validation tests, test optimization, and digitization to meet delivery schedules while ensuring reliability and quality in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
2+ years of Systems Engineer experience with requirements, verification, and system integration/testing.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering IPTLs.
Manage diverse tasks, requirements and interface with multiple disciplines.
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to stakeholders.
Schedule and lead periodic team meetings and teleconferences.
Develop and execute test plans, including simulations and lab tests to verify system capability.
