WOOD is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 1 in Annapolis Junction, MD, to support a high-priority mission. The role offers a competitive starting salary and a path to grow through hands-on experience across the full SE lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders, senior engineers, and cross-disciplinary teams to shape architectures and drive requirements development. The position requires U.S.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; five additional years of SE experience may substitute for the degree.
• 1 year of experience with Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance

Mansioni

• Analyze user needs and high‑level architectures to derive system requirements.
• Lead design activities ensuring alignment with system architecture (DoDAF, SOA).
• Develop system architecture documentation and design artifacts.
• Provide technical leadership in integrating requirements and constraints into designs.
• Support interface definition, design and configuration management across teams.
• Engage with government oversight on systems engineering issues, risks, and considerations.
