RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Systems Excellence Department in Melbourne, FL. You will contribute across the product development lifecycle, focusing on avionics CNS products and hands-on requirements management, architecture, testing and data analysis.

The role emphasizes collaboration within an integrated product team and adherence to company and regulatory standards, with potential travel and flexible hours to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related STEM major.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and Perl.
• Strong interest in the aerospace industry and related fields.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a collaborative integrated product team and support the design, integration, verification and validation of avionics CNS products.
• Gain hands-on experience in requirements management, systems architecture, test planning and data analysis.
• Assist in documentation of engineering work in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Support full product development lifecycle activities to satisfy customer and warfighter needs.
