Qualifications

• Knowledge of provisioning internals (TFTP, PXE, GRUB, DHCP) and modern hosting architectures.
• Experience with containers, load balancers, automation, and IaC concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to departmental and end users.
• Process and complete access/resource creation requests.
• Assist with security patches, upgrades, and configuration.
• Assist with application server installation, configuration, and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and standards.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Shell, Perl, Ruby, PHP, Java, PowerShell or YAML.
• Create, modify, update technical and process documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and document findings.
• Document basic processes and system configurations.
• On-call availability for resolving system emergencies, including after hours.

Job Summary

Responsible for provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching of Information Technology resources and services. Document processes, procedures, system configurations and specifications. Exhibits solid analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to learn and retain new technical competencies. Ability to work effectively alone and in team environments. Minimum Education and Experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Knowledge with load-balanced and highly available architecture and modern content delivery including relevant web protocols such as HTTP and SSL/TLS.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and enterprise platform operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and update technical and process documentation
• Involved in the evaluation and testing of new technology solutions and the documentation of findings
• Document basic processes, procedures, system configurations and specifications
• On-call availability for resolving system emergencies, both during regular and off-hours
