Job summary

Reflexive Concepts, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer I to administer and automate Linux environments, ensuring alignment with STE/STN security policies. You will work with customer stakeholders across multiple locations and help maintain clear technical documentation for the system.

The role requires active TS/SCI with FS polygraph and a related degree with 7+ years of experience (or 12+ years if no degree). Networking basics and Atlassian tools like Jira/Confluence are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with FS polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus seven (7) years of Systems Engineer experience; five (5) years may substitute for the degree.
• Active security clearance and strict adherence to the Agency's STE/STN security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and automate Linux systems across multiple locations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operations.
• Ensure systems meet STE/STN security compliance policies.
• Document environment clearly and keep it up to date for customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Capabilities and Operations teams to support the closed system.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team!

In this role, you will collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to support a closed system that spans multiple locations across Capabilities and Operations. The work centers on administering and automating Linux systems, keeping them aligned with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements, and maintaining clear technical documentation for the environment.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Skills + Experience :

• Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems
• Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks
• Experience with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies
• Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration
• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd
• Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation
