Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to bridge full‑stack development, database engineering, and reliability. You will ensure high performance of core web apps, C#/.NET backends, and SQL Server databases while promoting secure, scalable architectures.

You will design APIs, optimize databases, and lead multi‑layer diagnostics across frontend, API, and data layers. Collaboration with DevOps and QA teams will be essential to deliver robust systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of strong SQL Server experience with complex queries and tuning.
• Proven experience building production Web APIs and services in C#/.NET Core.
• Experience with RESTful architecture, OAuth/JWT, and security standards.
• Frontend UI experience with Angular or React and ES6+ JavaScript.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes/Docker, IIS, or cloud environments.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests (xUnit, Vitest).
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, CS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Own SQL Server databases: optimization, auditing, indexing, and data governance.
• Develop scalable UI using JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular/React).
• Lead root-cause analysis across frontend, API, and database layers.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, IIS).
• Craft precise prompts for AI tooling and iterate outputs.
• Mentor junior developers and promote clean code and documentation.
