Signature Performance is seeking a Software Application Engineer II to develop REST API backends for a healthcare-focused web application. You will collaborate with clients to translate requirements into complete user experiences and support production systems with timely issue resolution.

You will work across the full stack with .NET, React/JS, SQL Server, and containerization in a remote, nationwide capacity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years full stack development with .NET and React/JS.
• 2+ years MS SQL Server, stored procedures, views.
• 2+ years REST API services and .NET backend.
• 2+ years healthcare tech like HL7/FHIR/EDI formats.
• 2+ years Git/Bitbucket and DVCS workflows.
• 2+ years secure coding practices.
• Containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
• OAuth authentication/authorization frameworks.
• Experience in medical payer/provider web apps.
• Strong client collaboration to capture requirements and design UX.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST API backend for interactive website using .NET.
• Prioritize tasks and follow the software development lifecycle.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Design interactions between apps, databases, interfaces, and hardware.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and debug complex software.
• Contribute to requirements, design, and code walkthroughs.
• Create and maintain design documentation.
• Identify problems and propose solutions.
• Test changes thoroughly and generate test data.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes and reduce risk.
• Support leadership with planning, analysis, and reporting.
