Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB. This full-time position requires strong systems engineering expertise within a DoD environment and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

The role emphasizes lifecycle development, digital engineering concepts, and clear communication with management and technical staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in systems engineering including DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years may substitute for degree.
• Thorough understanding of software, operating systems, networks, and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Review program portfolio to improve systems engineering programs and test system performance.
• Prepare technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Prepare management reports and presentations using engineering economy principles.
• Validate systems and develop criteria and procedures for evaluation.
• Provide engineering support for acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment and operations.
• Support risk management activities following SEAM processes.
