Job summary
Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a seasoned Software Engineer to support full life cycle software solutions for the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB. This full-time role requires DoD experience and TS/SCI clearance, with responsibilities spanning analysis, documentation, system design, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications
- 12+ years experience in a software engineering role including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
- Experience with software development life cycle and multiple programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- US citizen with TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
Responsibilities
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, requirements, and proposed solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear comments.
- Prepare system specifications, standards, and programming tasks.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending policy changes.
- Obtain and license software by coordinating with vendors and testing products.
- Provide information by collecting and summarizing development and service issues.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs and consulting with users.
- Study systems flow, data usage, and work processes during the SDLC.
- Plan and implement agile acquisition/software development techniques and DevOps practices.
