Gateway Church seeks a Systems Engineer to design, install, and maintain audio, video, and lighting systems across its regional campuses. You will own wiring, signal flow, and documentation for multiple locations, keeping hardware, software, and firmware up to date and scalable.
You will troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with IT and facilities while ensuring consistent system configurations. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent in a technical field and 3+ years of AVL
The Systems Engineer designs, installs, and maintains the technical systems behind live production across a region of Gateway campuses — audio, video, lighting, and the networks that tie them together. Where the Live Production Managers run the rooms week to week, the Systems Engineer keeps the underlying systems healthy, standardized, and ready to scale. This is a regional role covering specific campuses.
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to: Sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasionally kneel or crouch. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Able to travel regularly to campuses in the assigned region, lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs, work at heights on ladders or lifts, and work weekends and evenings
