Job summary

Gateway Church seeks a Systems Engineer to design, install, and maintain audio, video, and lighting systems across regional campuses. You will ensure wiring, signal flow, and network infrastructure are healthy, standardized, and scalable to support weekend services and events.

You will collaborate with Live Production Managers, IT, and Facilities, maintain documentation, and participate in campus build-outs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in technical field with 3+ years AVL experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in networking, audio, video, or lighting preferred.
• Prior multisite church or multi-venue experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AVL system wiring and signal flow.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, and maintains audio, video, and lighting systems across campuses.
• Owns system wiring, signal flow, and infrastructure documentation for regional campuses.
• Maintains hardware, software, and firmware across regional systems.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues escalated from Live Production Managers.
• Oversees production and control networks, coordinating with IT and Facilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance across the region.
• Supports campus technical build-outs, upgrades, and new campus launches.
• Standardizes system configuration across regional campuses for interchangeability.
• Keeps inventory and as-built documentation; collaborates with Central Lighting/Video/Audio Managers.
• Participates in weekend services and churchwide events as calendar requires.
