Job summary

AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer/Data Analyst to sustain and analyze US Army M&S environments, building software pipelines and delivering engineering insights through charts and briefs.

The role requires a BS with 2 years of experience (MS is 0) or a related degree, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. You will work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team on logistics and sustainment analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems), Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field; 2 years experience (MS=0).
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Basic software development (Python).
• Familiarity with statistical methods (regression, confidence intervals).
• Familiarity with M&S theory (stochastic, deterministic, Monte Carlo, heuristic).
• Experience parsing large data sets and creating analyses.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers to define M&S requirements.
• Develop software pipelines to manage M&S environment.
• Produce charts, graphs, data analyses and technical results for leadership and customers.
• Prepare and present briefings on analysis, tasks, schedules, and goals.
• Provide technical analysis on logistics and sustainment KPIs for Army platforms.
• Contribute in team discussions on issues, funding, and schedules.
• Troubleshoot M&S issues via debugging and research.
• Manage workload across multiple projects and ensure delivery schedules.
• Work independently with strong self-motivation and clear communication.
