Job summary

Cryptic Vector in the United States seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex system architecture from concept to fielded capability. You will translate mission needs into actionable requirements and guide multidisciplinary teams across communications, SIGINT, EW, and other specialized applications.

You will shape design decisions, mentor engineers, manage schedules and budgets, and clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, ensuring mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Proven track record of leading successful engineering programs.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead highly technical programs spanning DSP, RF, digital design, embedded software, PCB layout, and system engineering.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Manage program budgets and timelines.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
