Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet vehicle networks.
  • Experience with DFMEA, requirements management, and MBSE.
  • Familiarity with MagicDraw, JIRA, Jama, and Teamcenter.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Controls & Prognostics to support the development of advanced connected vehicle diagnostic and prognostic solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive systems engineering, MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and vehicle data analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop prognostic and diagnostic models using MATLAB/Simulink and generate C++ code.
  • Define and manage system requirements, architecture, and interfaces using MBSE tools (MagicDraw/SysML).
  • Analyze vehicle, sensor, and CAN data to improve feature performance and reliability.
  • Conduct FMEA/DFMEA and support functional safety activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop connected vehicle features from concept to production.
  • Support cloud-to-vehicle communication and data-driven feature development.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of automotive systems engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink and C++.
  • Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Experience with DFMEA, requirements management, and systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MagicDraw, JIRA, Jama, and Teamcenter.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms, SQL, and connected vehicle data analytics.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, cybersecurity, and prognostics/diagnostics.
  • PhD or additional advanced research experience.
