Job summary

Leidos in Maryland seeks a Systems Engineer/COMSEC Manager to support a high-impact, multi-agency program for US Space Force and Space Systems Command. The role blends systems engineering with COMSEC management, including PKI, inventory control, and device provisioning.

The candidate should bring 8+ years of related experience, knowledge of CNSSI policies, and the ability to collaborate across teams, with TS/SCI with poly as a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Engineering Management, Program Management, or related field.
• Must be proficient with CNSSI 4005/4001/4003 and NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16.
• Minimum 5 years COMSEC experience with handling and configuring End Cryptographic Units.
• Experience with COMSEC material lifecycle and reporting.
• Experience with inline network encryptors.
• Understanding NSA/CSS 3-16 manual.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform Systems Engineering and COMSEC Manager duties.
• Manage network encryptors and related systems.
• Maintain COMSEC material inventory and lifecycle.
• Support periodic rekey efforts and SOP updates.
• Brief users entering/exiting COMSEC program.
• Provide updates to Program Management and leadership.
