Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the technical strategy for mid‑complexity accounts within a territory. You will design solutions, lead technical validation, and drive revenue outcomes while collaborating with Account Executives.

You will travel within the territory as needed and mentor junior SEs, delivering demonstrations and technical discussions across customer organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing solutions for mid‑complexity, multi‑product environments.
• Strong ability to influence revenue and technical outcomes in a territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical qualification for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle.
• Independently design and architect solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Drive POCs and technical validation to advance deals.
• Partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy.
• Build technical capability within channel partners through training and enablement.
• Expand competitive positioning knowledge to win against competitors.
• Own technical win rate and contribute to territory revenue results.
• Represent Extreme Networks in customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions across all levels of a customer's organization.
• Use Wi‑Fi test and planning tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet, NetScout) to support design and validation work.
