Job summary

Texas Instruments in Knoxville, TN invites applications for the Systems Engineer – Career Accelerator Program. This entry-level role combines structured training with hands-on project experience to accelerate your technical growth and readiness for broader TI roles.

You will work with design, applications, test, and product engineers to develop innovative chips and system products, while gaining exposure to roadmaps, trade-offs, and customer collaboration during the program.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analog and digital chips and system products from concept to mass production.
• Complete advanced high-speed IC design cycles and participate in a variety of system design activities.
• Interface directly with TI business units and customers to define product roadmaps.
• Assess and negotiate IC development trade-offs with design teams and customers.
• Evaluate silicon systems (hardware and software) and related documentation.
• Gather user requirements, translate them to functional specifications, and implement solutions and enhancement projects.
• Provide complete documentation for each development lifecycle step.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging on issues related to the system.
