Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for the US market. You will lead system-level requirements, architecture, and cross-functional integration to deliver scalable energy storage solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering, product development, and operations teams to ensure compliance with standards and achieving cost targets while improving grid reliability and renewable integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
2–3+ years of systems engineering experience with electrical/industrial systems.
Strong understanding of systems architecture, requirements management and integration.

Responsibilities

Own and manage system-level technical requirements across subsystems.
Define and validate system architecture including Battery Systems, PCS, SCADA, and PMS.
Develop electrical designs compliant with US market standards and cost targets.
Create system specifications, interface definitions, and verification matrices.
Develop high-level design artifacts and architecture models.
Establish subsystem requirements and coordinate cross-functional integration.
Conduct trade-offs to optimize performance, cost, reliability, and scalability.
Support integration activities, testing, and validation processes.
Review system-level test procedures and qualification documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, product, project management, and operations.
