Saft America, Inc. in Jacksonville seeks skilled Systems Engineers to design and optimize advanced battery storage solutions for renewable energy integration and grid reliability.

You will define architectures (Batteries + Power Conversion + SCADA/Power Management), develop high-level designs, and support on-site commissioning and testing across large-scale projects. This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2–3 years of systems engineering experience, fluent English, and up to 20%

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, other engineering disciplines considered.
• Min 2-3 years of experience in a systems engineering environment.
• Fully fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for performance/technical requirements of the product and their implementation into sub-systems to meet project requirements.
• Defines the architecture (Batteries + Power Conversion + SCADA or Power Management Systems) and the specification of the product and validates the specification of sub-systems.
• Support the specification of sub-systems and the verification cross matrix.
• Develops high level design specs, block diagrams, system interfaces, partitions resources, compliance matrices, and uses technical and economic trade-offs to establish the best system design.
• Implements solution integration tests during design phase and on-site during commissioning.
• Validates product/solution integration tests during design phase and on-site during commissioning.
• Validates product/solution test procedure and approves the product tests results to be aligned with product performance guarantees.
• Implement and test equipment to provide cloud-based tools for remote monitoring.
• Provide support to service team for projects in operation as needed.
