Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA seeks a System Engineer to own system-level design and integration across hardware and software for air defense programs. You will engage with users, synthesize feedback, and guide technical execution to meet mission objectives.

Minimum 4+ years in autonomous systems or robotics, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. US Secret Clearance may be required; travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a System Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.
• Proven client-facing technical program management and/or systems engineering experience in defense/aerospace.
• Experience authoring ICDs/interfaces for other teams.
• Strong root-cause/troubleshooting track record.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders and serve as technical liaison to clients and internal teams.
• Own technical outcomes and drive product development from data and observations.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans and milestones.
• Lead cross-team collaboration across hardware, software, test and field ops.
