Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a systems engineer to lead end-to-end development for autonomous defense platforms, collaborating with hardware, software, and product teams.

Candidates should have 6+ years in systems engineering, hands-on prototyping, and test automation using Python/MATLAB, and must hold a U.S. Secret clearance; willingness to travel 25% and to spend six months in Irvine, CA for HQ training before relocating to Ohio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-grad industry experience in systems engineering or related fields.
• Hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks (Python or MATLAB).
• Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance or higher.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Willing to spend the first six months in Irvine, CA for HQ hands-on training before returning to OH.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system development with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components for performance in complex environments.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
• Document software engineering processes and practices to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
