Job summary

Reflexive Concepts seeks a Systems Engineer 3 to join our team in Maryland. The candidate will analyze requirements and architecture to develop system-level specifications, guide design and development activities, and provide technical leadership for integration and testing.

Interaction with government stakeholders and preparation of SE plans are expected. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph and experience supporting SAFe/agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph.
• a CI polygraph within the last 5 years is required.
• Highest education level must be in an engineering field or related discipline.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develops technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Holds ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Qualifications

• Systems engineering experience based on the highest level of education attained; degrees must be in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university:
  • High School Diploma or GED — 12 years of general system engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree — 7 years.
  • Master’s degree — 5 years.
  • PhD — 3 years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph; a CI polygraph within the last 5 years is required.

Position Details

• Scrum Coach with a Scrum certification.
• Experience collaborating with the Product Owner in preparation for SAFe/agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, Inspect and Adapt, and Program Increment (PI) planning events.
