Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Systems Engineer for a forthcoming effort in Patuxent River, MD.

The engineer will provide technical leadership to identify, develop, design, and test solutions for complex military systems and airborne platforms, applying advanced SE methods and tools across development, integration, and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline.
• Bachelor's degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the Master’s degree (14 total years).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience (14 years with degree substitution).
• At least 3 years of experience directly related to airborne systems.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles to complex hardware systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the applicable engineering discipline.

Overview

Systems Engineer:

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Target salary is $ 125,000 - $175,000 commensurate with experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibilty. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
