Bowhead is seeking an Operations Manager for an upcoming effort in Patuxent River, MD. The role serves as the overall lead and administrator for the contracted effort, providing program and operational oversight while acting as the primary point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program-related matters.

The position will oversee contract execution, manage program resources, and ensure compliance with Federal and DoD acquisition regulations.

Formación

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline or an allowable substitution.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex programs, projects, or technical operations.
• Experience overseeing contractor performance, personnel, and program resources.
• Ability to independently manage high-visibility or mission-critical program activities.

Overview

Operations Manager:

Bowhead is seeking a Manager / Operations Manager for an upcoming effort in Patuxent River, MD. The Manager / Operations Manager will serve as the overall lead and administrator for the contracted effort, providing program and operational oversight while serving as the primary point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program-related matters. Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Target salary is $ 150,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibilty. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
