Bowhead is seeking an Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer for an upcoming effort at Patuxent River, MD. The role provides technical leadership in designing and evaluating anti-tamper solutions to protect military systems against unauthorized access or compromise, applying advanced systems engineering to DoD applications.

Requirements include a Master's degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years (14 with substitution) in related fields, and 5+ years in anti-tamper methods.

• Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience (14 years with degree substitution).
• At least 5 years directly related to anti-tamper methods, techniques, and systems in DoD applications.
• Must apply for Anti-Tamper Certificate through the Navy within 90 days of performance start.

Overview

Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer:

Bowhead is seeking an Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer for an upcoming effort in Patuxent River, MD. The Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership in the development, design, and evaluation of engineering solutions supporting the protection of military systems and technologies against unauthorized access, exploitation, or compromise. This position will apply advanced systems engineering principles and specialized anti-tamper methods and techniques to support Department of Defense applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
• A Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the Master's degree, requiring 14 total years of experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience (14 years when using the degree substitution).
• At least 5 years of experience directly related to anti-tamper methods, techniques, and systems in DoD applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the applicable engineering discipline.
• Must apply for an Anti-Tamper Certificate through the Navy Anti-Tamper Certification Holder within 90 days of performance start.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Target salary is $ 125,000 - $180,000 commensurate with experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibilty. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
