Job summary

AISIN Electronics Illinois, LLC is seeking a software-focused engineer to support development and sustainability of system processes and internal operations. You will design and maintain front-end GUIs and back-end data structures for internal programs, and ensure compatibility with updates.

Responsibilities include building digital systems, implementing end-user driven features, and leading the digitization of plant processes while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science 4+ year degree or Associates Degree with 3+ years of experience.
• The university issuing this degree must have an H.L.C. and A.B.E.T. accreditation.
• Engineering degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Angular, Python, VB.net).
• Experience with MS SQL or Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop digital systems supporting AEIL processes.
• Develop logic, table structures, forms, reports, and updates based on end user requirements.
• Ensure compatibility of old modules with system updates.
• Collaborate with consultants and cross-functional teams.
• Lead digitization of plant systems and support Hoshin Kanri activities.
• Follow safety and security standards.

Summary

Support development and sustainability of System processes to support activity related to the maintained quality of parts. Design and maintain existing front-end GUIs and back-end data structures for programs that manage AEIL's internal operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and develop digital systems supporting AEIL processes - Developing logic, table structure, forms, report outs, & updates as necessary based on the end user requirements.
• Ensure compatibility of old modules with mandatory system updates.
• Work with consultants (if Section Manager decides to pursue support from consultants)
• Work with other NAP's for best practice opportunities
• Support Hoshin Kanri Activity
• Lead and support the Digitization of plant systems.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Supervisor
• Or Management.

Qualifications, Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor of science 4+ year degree or Associates Degree with 3+ years of experience.

• Accepted Engineering or Engineering Technology degrees: Computer Science
• Computer Software Engineering, Information Science, Industrial Automation.
• Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming required, preferably with experience in C#, Angular, Python, or VB.net.
• Experience with structured query languages and database management (MSsql or Oracle) preferred
• Experience with web-based or native Android mobile platform development

Salary Range: $76,250 - $88,500
