Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. You will develop subsystem requirements, model-based systems engineering artifacts, and support verification planning to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.

The role requires 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, clearance eligibility (Secret with potential Top Secret), and on-site work at Valley Forge, PA or Littleton, CO campuses.

Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with mechanical, electrical, safety, and test disciplines to develop requirements specifications.
  • Experience with CAMEO and DOORS.
  • Must have a Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret; US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to work onsite at Lockheed Martin Space campuses in Valley Forge, PA or Littleton, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Develop subsystem requirements documentation.
  • Develop CAMEO models of the subsystem.
  • Support requirements writing, MBSE activities, and verification planning.
  • Collaborate with SEIT to create end-to-end integrated solutions.

Lockheed Martin is seeking a resourceful Systems Engineer, Senior to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.



As a Systems Engineer, Senior, You Will


  • Develop subsystem requirements documentation

  • Develop CAMEO models of the subsystem

  • Support requirements writing, other model-based systems engineering activities, and verification planning

  • Collaborate with SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions

  • Support a value driven systems engineering team and facilitate design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way

  • Support development of test, modeling, validation and verification activities



YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE


  • 3+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor Degree

  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance

  • Ability to work onsite at our Valley Forge, PA or Littleton, CO campus



The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.



Basic Qualifications


  • Experience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop requirements specifications

  • Experience CAMEO and/or DOORS

  • Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance; US Citizenship required



Desired Skills


  • Knowledge in Systems Engineering concepts and processes

  • Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team members

  • Knowledge of DOORS

  • Knowledge of CAMEO

  • Knowledge of Requirements

  • Knowledge of MBSE

  • Knowledge of Interfaces

  • Experience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment

  • Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles

  • Active Top Secret clearance



Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00
