TEKsystems is seeking two Systems Engineers to support enterprise Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, storage, and related technologies in a healthcare-focused environment. This onsite-based role in Kenosha, WI may offer hybrid flexibility for standout candidates.

The ideal candidates will bring strong Windows/AD/Group Policy experience, hands-on M365 skills (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online), and familiarity with SolarWinds, Pure Storage SAN, and F5 load balancers.

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator supporting enterprise Windows environments.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, and enterprise infrastructure support.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 experience including Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, production environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting critical production systems.

• Participate in modernization, security hardening, upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards.
• Work with Infrastructure, Security, and business stakeholders on critical healthcare operations.

Overview

Our clients team is expanding its Infrastructure and Security teams and is seeking two Systems Engineers to support key enterprise technologies and ongoing modernization initiatives.

Historically, the organization has relied on a lean engineering team composed of versatile "jack-of-all-trades" professionals. As the environment continues to grow, the team is evolving toward greater specialization.

Ideally, one hire will bring strong expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies , while the second will serve as a broader Infrastructure Systems Engineer supporting core enterprise systems.

This role provides advanced systems engineering support across a healthcare environment where reliability, security, and availability are critical. Engineers will partner with infrastructure, security, and operational teams to design, implement, maintain, and optimize solutions across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, storage, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint Online, while aligning solutions with business and security requirements.
• Administer and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Manage and support VMware infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and highly available virtualized environments.
• Utilize SolarWinds for monitoring, asset management, and infrastructure performance optimization.
• Support and maintain Pure Storage SAN solutions, ensuring availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Partner with networking teams and support environments utilizing F5 Load Balancers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, networking, storage, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Participate in infrastructure modernization, security hardening, system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, and business stakeholders to support critical healthcare operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator supporting enterprise Windows environments.
• Strong experience with:
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • VMware
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Support
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including:
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Teams
  • SharePoint Online
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting critical production systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • SolarWinds Monitoring & Asset Management
  • Pure Storage SAN platforms
  • F5 Load Balancers
  • Microsoft 365 administration and cloud technologies
• Experience supporting infrastructure within healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
• Background working on smaller IT teams where engineers wore multiple hats and supported a broad technology stack.
• Interest in developing deeper specialization within Infrastructure, Cloud, or Security disciplines.
• Strong documentation, change management, and configuration management practices.

Work Environment

This position is ideally based onsite in Kenosha, WI , where engineers work closely with Infrastructure and Security teams supporting critical healthcare systems. Hybrid flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $106000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
