C Spire is seeking a Systems Engineer in Jackson, MS, with remote availability. You will design and deploy networking, collaboration, and security solutions for enterprise clients, acting as the primary technical resource and partner to sales for pre‑sales activities.

You will lead projects, document solutions, and guide customers through implementation while advancing your engineering expertise in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a technical consulting role.
• Strong prospecting and networking skills.
• Ability to accurately forecast and maintain required levels of pipeline activity.

• Experience using project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade networking, collaboration, and security solutions.
• Serve as the primary support and maintenance resource for assigned customers.
• Interact with sales staff to support pre-sales activities, including demos and whiteboard sessions.
• Create customer-facing presentations and assist in preparing proposals and SOWs.
• Prepare bills of materials for hardware and software quotes.
• Manage project scope, change orders, and customer expectations during implementation.
• Build strong customer relationships and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
• Manage daily schedules and multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in ongoing technical training in assigned areas.
• Document work and log time daily in time systems.
